Club Championship
Every year Swale Tri Club runs the Club Championship for its members. The aim of the competition is not only the competitive element but also an opportunity to have a fun day with other Club members and we encourage members of all abilities to take part.
At the end of the year, the winners of both categories will be presented with a Female and Male Triathlete of The Year award.
In order to be eligible for the Club Championships and earn points, you will need to be a paid member of the Club, enter the event as affiliated to Swale Tri Club and wear official Club Race Kit at the event you take part. 2023 Club Championship
There are 7 championship races. Maximum of three events will count towards the Championship. Swale Tri Club committee have selected the championship distance for each race, but members can select other distances, points will be awarded according to distance selected.
- April 16th Cyclopark Duathlon - Sprint Distance 5k Run / 20k bike/ 5k Run
- May 17th Ocean Lake Aquathlon - T argeted distance: 750m Swim/ 5km Run
- June 10th Betteshangar 15k Cycle Time Trial - Cycle 15km on the Bettshangar track (ie 5 laps of 3km) as fast as you can.
- July 9th Oysterman Tri - Sprint- 500m/ 20km/ 5km
- 25th August Club Sea Swim Time Trial - This will take place at Tankerton and consist in 1 lap of the swim area marked by the buoys.
- September 17th - Faversham 10K - Faversham 10k Run
- October 12th 400m Club Pool Swim Time Trial - Swim 400m (16 lengths) as fast as you can
2022 Club Championship
The Club Championship has returned for 2022 and we have a full calendar of events for our members to compete in. These are as follows:

- Standard 800m pool swim - 51k bike - 10k run (targeted distance)
- Sprint 400m pool swim - 25k bike - 5k run
- Relay 400m pool swim - 25k bike - 5k run
- Standard 800m pool swim - 51k bike - 10k run (targeted distance)
- June 5th Cranbrook Triathlon
- Sprint 300m pool swim - 21k bike - 5k run (targeted distance)
- Aquabike – 300m Swim – 21k Bike
- July 3rd Maidstone Triathlon at Sutton Valance
- Sprint 300m pool Swim – 18k Bike - 4.2k Run (targeted distance)
- Aqua bike
- August 7th Oysterman Triathlon at Whitstable
- 500m sea swim / 20k bike / 5k run
- September 18th - Faversham 10K
- October 16th @ 08.30 hours Tankerton Magic 10K
- Run 10k at your pace, prior to your run confidentially inform the time keeper your predicted finish time. No watch, mobile phone or time recording/pacing device permitted whilst running. The person with the smallest variance between their predicted time and actual time is the winner.
